From jacobm at cs.uchicago.edu Fri Apr 14 16:43:23 2006 From: jacobm at cs.uchicago.edu (Jacob Matthews) Date: Fri Apr 14 16:43:24 2006 Subject: [Hyper] MSPLS meeting next weekend Message-ID: <4440177B.2020500@cs.uchicago.edu> Hello UofC/TTI-C programming-language afficionados --- On Saturday April 22 (next weekend, not tomorrow) I'll be giving a talk at the Midwest Society for Programming Languages and Systems (MSPLS) meeting in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois at UIUC's super-high-tech Siebel Center. Here's the web page for the meeting: http://fsl.cs.uiuc.edu/mspls/ It will be an all-day meeting in which PL researchers from around the midwest talk about what they're up to. Registration is free (and apparently optional, judging from the web page). My talk will be about giving formal semantics to multi-language programs, e.g. foreign function interfaces. It looks like there will be other talks on interesting topics, including one about the future of one of John Reppy's old projects, eXene. Come out and see it! -jacob
