Requirements to Apply

  • Applicant should hold an American Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent foreign degree.
  • Applicant should have achieved basic competence in their fields, with excellent academic records.
  • Applicants who hold a Ph.D. degree from another institution will normally not be admitted.

TTIC, in admissions, employment and access to programs, considers all faculty, staff and students on the basis of individual merit and without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.

English Proficiency Requirement: All applicants who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The TOEFL code for TTIC is 8503.

GRE: You may also submit GRE scores as part of your application. Taking the GRE general and/or subject exams is optional, but may aid in gaining admission to TTIC. In any case, if you report GRE scores in this webform you MUST also have ETS (who administers the GRE) officially report your scores to TTIC. The GRE code for TTIC is 8503.

Transcripts: All applicants must submit official academic records for each year of post-secondary education (college or university.) If the transcript does not have degrees awarded listed, you must send official copies of degrees awarded.

The Application due date is February 15th, applications received after that date may not receive full consideration.
