Hi! I am a Research Assistant Professor at Toyota Technological Institute (TTI) at Chicago, an academic computer science institute on the University of Chicago campus. My research interests broadly include computer vision, machine learning and pattern recognition.

I received my Ph.D. and MS. at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009 and 2007 respectively. My advisor was Prof. Tsuhan Chen and I was a part of the Advanced Multimedia Processing (AMP) Laboratory. I spent a couple of semesters in 2009 at Cornell University as a visiting student. I got my BS, also in ECE, at Rowan University in 2005. I worked with Dr. Robi Polikar in the Signal Processing & Pattern Recognition Laboratory (SPRL) on several pattern recognition problems during the last two years of my undergrad.
